Lola's 2nd birthday. It was hot, 100 degrees, so we took her to the river. She loves rocks, and loves throwing them into water even more.
The water was cold, but it felt amazing in small doses.
On the walk back we stopped and sat on a bench in the shade. I felt something crawl on my leg and it happened to be a ladybug, so I gave it to Lola.
He flew away when Nathan told him to go free.
Brother teamwork.
That night we had ice cream cake and she was eating the blue frosting straight from the cake itself.
