Nathan and I both happened to have a Tuesday off from work and originally planned on going to Woods lake, but decided to save that for another time and went to the river instead.
Nathan has a secret spot under the cover of a blackberry bush trail and a weeping tree.

The water was on the cold side but still pretty perfect. We sat in a shallow turn out on a bed of rocks and drank beer. Later we picked about 5-6 cups of black berries, and baked them into a pie back at Nat's house (delicious)
Later that night we went to karaoke at Old I because our friend Nick was in town. I won a candy bar for singing my heart out to Roy Orbison!
